After School Clubs - Spring 1 Term

See below for the exciting activities that are happening in our school.

Extra Curricular Activities

There are special sporting and music-based clubs and activities on-going in and around Bayton e.g. netball, football, gardening, etc.  The availability of these clubs depends on staff and/or parental support.  Details can be found on school notice-boards.

In addition, some staff run after-school clubs for approximately one hour.  These may be craft, sport-based, indoor or outdoor activities.   Other lunch-time activities may be sport, gardening, art or music based.   We employ a member of staff specifically to organise lunch-time games.

Each year we run a cycling proficiency club for Y6 pupils

Our Spring 1 clubs are shown below.

Please apply for school clubs by logging in to your sQuid account and selecting from the trips and offers menu (with the exception of Yoga Bananas).

"The classes aim to maintain a child’s natural flexibility. There are over 170 techniques that the children can explore, all of which increase their physical and mental strength, stamina and poise. Many of the techniques improve the immune system function and stimulate the nervous system by directly targeting the lymphatic drainage points in the body. The result is healthy children less susceptible to colds and other childhood ailments. The emphasis on the breath in each technique increases the level of oxygen in the blood, resulting in optimum brain function and support for children’s learning as it persuades the mind to focus on the present moment, giving children the opportunity to experience a less fractured and more fulfilling approach to learning and play. Best of all, the Yoga Bananas® Technique enables a child to explore their creativity and imagination."
