NATIONAL LOCKDOWN Spring Term home learning

As announced we are entering a National Lockdown and school will be closed except for Key worker children and Vulnerable children until at least February half term. We will be using home learning to continue every child's learning during this time and it is important that all parents are signed up to class dojo and have provided Mrs Wood with an email address too.

This term we will continue to implement the new topic for this term 'Towers and Tales' with a focus on the 'Tales' (traditional stories). Daily work will be provided for your child to complete in Maths, English writing, phonics as well as foundation subjects. Mrs Wood and Miss Randall will provide this work through class dojo using video presentations as well as daily LIVE sessions through Zoom. All of this learning and resources will be available on class dojo as well as emailed to you. Class dojo will be used also for work to be submitted to the class teacher for feedback and marking. It will also be through here that you can communicate with Mrs Wood and Miss Randall directly throughout the day with any questions, help or support that is needed.

Please refer to website class page - Spring term folder for additonal information on our topic overview for this term.  All other resources and guidance will be given thorough the class dojo portal. Please also use the other information on the website for websites and useful information on phonics, home learning, reading, purple mash that can also be used during this time at home to support your child's learning. All of these websites and additional support will be provided to you too thorough class dojo.

If you have any questions regarding home learning, the national lockdown or need any support please contact Mrs Wood or Ms Simmonds directly where we are happy to help and support you during this time.

We will get through this together and continue to educate our children to be the best that they can be.

Thank you

Mrs Wood
