Out of this world
Half Term POW projects are up on display!
Our OUT OF THIS WORLD topic so far!
In English, we've received a video from a girl lost in Space! NASA have personally written to us to ask us to help her!
We've researched all the planets to find out where she might be. We came up with some mnemonics to help us remember the order of the planets' distance from the Sun.
Several days later, Isobel sent us a text message. She told us she'd been travelling for 300 days and was in the orbit of a rocky red planet. Our research revealed that she was in fact on Mars! More video footage also revealed she was in fact at JCA Condover Hall on the evening of her abduction! We are currently in the midst of writing a Newspaper Report to tell the media all about this.
Here's what else we've been up to in our Foundation Subjects

In science, we planned and carried out an investigation inspired by life on the International Space Station.
Take a look at the video of ringing out a wash cloth in space!

The children had to test which material they thought would be best to wash with in space. They thought about weight, durability, absorbency and of course GRAVITY!
