Ukraine Shoebox Appeal

Shoebox donations for the people of Ukraine from families of Bayton Primary School

We are collecting donations of essential goods and long life food to take to Attwell Farm Park over in Redditch. The farm is working together with Oakland International (an award-winning integrated supply chain specialist run by Farmer Mikes Son & Daughter-in-law, Dean & Sallie Attwell) to send up to 50 trucks with essential food and non-food items to help the people of Ukraine.

The Farm Park is looking for school communities to make shoe box donations with essential goods. For example, long life food, medical supplies, toothpaste, toys etc little parcels of joy for families in need.

If you would like to donate to the cause, please drop your shoe boxes off at Bayton Primary School by Friday 4th March (will be collected at the end of the school day), and they will be taken to Attwell Farm over the weekend.

If you would like to take donations direct to the farm, Attwell Farm Park have just allocated an area in the farm parks car park for drop offs, where they can consolidate the pallets and get them loaded onto the trucks.

For more information about Oakland International's plan:
Oakland International are calling for support from the UK to assist our European friends so badly affected by the invasion of Ukraine. They are prepared to fund up to 50 trucks and drivers to take essential food & non-food items (chilled, frozen, and ambient) to the Eastern border of Poland and possibly into Ukraine if we can get through.

There fleet and network of partners in the UK and Ireland can link up for full load collections or give you the choice of 10 consolidation hubs which we will be using to build full truck loads.

Oakland will guarantee that all stock gets to where it is needed, and we are in touch with embassies and the Red Cross to help guide us on the most needed commodities.
