The Parable of the Sower

Godly Play

Reverend Sallie and Reverend Julia have been in school during the month of January supporting our continued promotion of our vision and the story that supports it. They have visited each class, spending an afternoon with them leading a Godly Play session for our schools’ story ‘The Parable of the Sower’; Godly Play is a creative, imaginative approach to Christian formation and spiritual guidance. It is a Montessori-style of telling Bible stories, parables and liturgical action about religious traditions using simple, natural materials. Godly Play allows participants to make meaning for themselves by inviting them into stories and providing space of connect Scripture with personal experience and open-ended responsive.
