Welcome to Bayton CE Primary School

 I am delighted and honoured to be appointed as Headteacher of Bayton C.E Primary School.

On behalf of the children, staff and governors I would like to welcome you to our school. Our success stems from a relentless drive to make learning meaningful, exciting and magical. I hope that our website demonstrates the incredible nature of our school and community.

We continually strive to create an ethos of excellence in all that we do.  Our curriculum seeks to enable our pupils to have a deep knowledge, the skills to apply that knowledge and the confidence and opportunities to lead enriched lives.

Although many of you know me well as a class teacher, I am ready and excited to demonstrate my skills as an effective leader, working alongside an experienced and successful staff team. I am in a strong position to already know our pupils at Bayton so well. My philosophy for education is simple: I want every child to thrive and flourish to be the best they can be. To do this, we need to work together as a school community to develop our pupils both academically and personally. Their time at Bayton should leave a legacy on their lives and support them as they grow into wonderfully kind human beings.

Our Curriculum is continuously developing and enhancing so that our children and their needs are at the heart of it. It’s important to share this journey with the entire community to make sure that as a school, we employ initiatives and strategies which enable our pupils to succeed. Our curriculum and endeavour is focused on connecting people with each other, with the school, with their community, with the world and what they are learning. When learning is connected, it is retained and can grow.
